I always take the week of Thanksgiving to shut down and reset. I only do what I want for the week no specific plans. No travel. Just time to reflect on the year and ponder what's ahead. Nobody would have guessed that 2020 would have been what it is. But it is.

Last spring I wrote a short piece on what I anticipated about COVID. I plan to do a sequel on the anniversary. Many things have changed. Life isn't ever going to go back to the "same".

We look at 7 areas that will change as we go through this. At the time of the writing, I anticipated we would manage the mess much better than we have. The follow up will reflect that.

The 7 areas are:
1) Remote is the new get together
2) Work/Meetings don't have to be in person
3) "I love you" isn't as weird now
4) Change doesn’t happen slowly it happens in leaps
5) We were due for a massive shift
6) eLearning makes more sense than ever before
7) The decision to be a minimalist doesn’t seem absurd
